Founded in 2023 Komorebi is a London based design studio that works on creating peaceful spaces by layering in varying hues of light. With over 10 years experience in the design industry we focus on creating unique and functional pieces. We aim to work as far as possible with what already exists, we do this by sourcing our curated lighting from suppliers around the globe and hand making our unique lampshades with locally sourced materials.

The Japanese word ‘Komorebi’ simply translates to “The feeling you get when you see the light shining through the trees”, which we felt was fitting to our product and denotes Sophie’s time spent living in Japan.
